When a raccoon ventures into the middle of a world of gigantic machines and technical facts and figures, there is a clear plan behind it. This time, Albert Coon was faced with a very special challenge: the cinematic realization of the Liebherr Annual Report 2024. But don't worry - there are no dry columns of figures and boring diagrams here. Instead, we set ourselves the task of capturing the successes, innovations and milestones of the past year in such an impressive way that you can not only see them, but literally feel them.
A year full of records - and we're right in the middle of it
Liebherr's year 2024 was characterized by great moments. The annual report tells the story of a company that not only looks back on 75 years of success, but is also heading full steam ahead into the future. And there was a lot to tell: A historic mega-deal in the mining sector - an order for 475 machines that sets new standards in the industry. Sustainable innovations that show that progress and environmental awareness need not be mutually exclusive.
Our task was not simply to document these developments, but to stage them in such a way that they could be grasped in their full dimension. This meant big images, moving stories and a cinematic concept that goes far beyond a classic company presentation.
How do you present an annual report in such a way that it not only informs, but also captivates? Quite simply: you tell it as a story. Instead of sober figures, we focused on the people, machines and innovations behind these successes.
The production relied on dynamic imagery and state-of-the-art technology: drone shots that showcase the impressive size of the Löwenhotel. Interviews with key players in the company that make not only economic successes but also visions for the future tangible. Detailed shots from the factory halls that show what Liebherr engineering looks like in practice.
The aim was clear: the annual report should not just be a document, but an experience - a film that conveys Liebherr's DNA and whets the appetite for the future.
We worked closely with the team to identify the most important topics of the year and cast them in a visual narrative that is as informative as it is captivating. The result is more than a classic corporate film. It is a snapshot of a year that was full of successes for Liebherr - told through images that stay with you.
And what does the raccoon say? "Business reports can be really exciting - if you just tell them right."
